Andrew,
This is an awesome review!
My family and I recently started our own small business due to some of the concerns that we had with products that were currently available in the baby market.
The first problem that my family and I decided to solve was to produce a natural breastlike baby pacifier that could help alleviate some of the well known symptoms associated with babies with colic, such as gas, discomfort, and inability to adequately grip their pacifier. I’ve attached some photos to showcase the new product that we launched in this email.
In order to help spread the word I am reaching out to you to see if you offer any advertising services to expose families in need to the products that we currently offer?
I have the keekaroo then got the Stokke for our second kid and I LOVE the keekaroo over the Stokke. Esp when using the tray and infant inserts.
Stokke:
1. The Stokke infant insert was difficult to take our son in and out of, we had to maneuver his feet into the opening (similar to a park swing)
2. The bowls and plates never stuck to the tray
3. The under side of the tray had a “honeycomb” design. Meaning so many nooks to clean whenever our son reached or touched the underside of the tray with food filled hands
I felt the keekaroo on the other hand was far superior:
1. While the infant insert didn’t feel as secure as the Stokke it was much easier to get our son in and out of (and with the tray table attached, security never felt like an issue
2. Suction bowls always stick
3. The tray table has a removable plastic covering which makes cleaning SO MUCH EASIER. It’s lighter and has no groves or nooks where food can get stuck.
The differences in the chair are completely negligible if using with a toddler and pushing it up to the table. No difference at all. But the infant and tray table use make me a keekaroo fan for life. I have no idea why the keekaroo doesn’t get as much hype and love when it’s tray table use is far superior!
The biggest problem with the tripptrapp that wasnt mentioned was how none of the suction tablewear stick to it. This alone makes it useless for most kids who want to pry up their bowls and throw it across the room.
We got the Ikea highchair and LOVE it. Even with the added cost of footrest, still so much cheaper, easier to wipe down, and if you clip off the two extra tabs at the back of the tray, its a one-handed on and off ease.
You’re missing the Bugabvoo Giraffe!!! beats these out of the water by farrr
CAn you do a review on cribs that convert into toddler bed?
What are your thoughts of the Preg Perego Brand of highchairs? Like the siesta. There is also a Baby JoggerCity Bistro high chair that I would love your thoughts on! Debating between these too and don’t know if the price tag is worth it!
Hey Andrew! What are your thoughts on the Bugaboo Giraffe high chair? It’s a bit newer and its a consideration vs the tripp trapp. thanks for the awesome video 🙂
Found a brand called Cowiewie that looks very similar to these and is a bit more affordable. Does anyone know if it is worth it? Can seem to find any good reviews on it.
Are any of these high chairs foldable? I need a high chair that grows with the baby, but one I can also fold away and keep to the side until it’s needed. I would really appreciate any recommendations.
Very useful review! I would love a new review of diaper bags! Not all the bags you previously reviewed are available anymore, and I find so many of them too feminine/purselike.
Perfect timing! My son is 6 months and getting ready to start solids so I was literally looking at high chairs online last night. Since I trust you’re reviews (after several successful recommendations) I guess I’m down to just the few options you’ve suggested here. Thank you again for helping us dads out here!
I grew up with the Tripp Trapp, since its Norwegian and so am I. They haven’t changed much at all!
Would have loved to have seen the Stokke Nomi on the list, it’s been an amazing chair for baby led weaning. It’s grown with our child as they went from trying solids once a day to 5 meals a day and will be great for years to come. Ergonomic, supportive, and so easy to clean.
How do I join the dad figure community? I am a new dad and I am needing help making a registry for my baby shower and I noticed you have the baby gear recommendations but I can’t find it
Would love a review on the Cybex Lemo – everything I see makes it seem like it has all of the perks of the Tripptrapp but easier to clean and much easier to adjust as baby grows.
